Kramnik shares second in the Melody Amber

The tournament was played in Nice, France from March 14 to 26, organized according to the highest standards for world class chess players. This year’s field was stronger than ever with all the world’s best players taking part.

Aronian took first in the combined standings with 14 points, closely followed by Kramnik and Anand at only half point distance.

It was an excellent performance by Vladimir Kramnik who showed his strength against the best chess players in the world.
